Raised on a Texas cattle ranch, after High school, I went to
Fairbanks, Alaska and got the chance to work for a
fur trader,
A great job. Did some gold panning for extra cash .
Then they discovered OIL on the north slope, What a shame, It really messed that country up! I spent a few years in
Southeast Asia with the 11th Cav.
Spent some time building and riding
Custom Bikes ( choppers we called them then ) . Making both the
Sturgis, and
Daytona rallies as well as the local Texas run's while attending college in
East Texas.
Moving to Houston I installed and maintained HVAC control systems for commercial and
industrial interests in and around the Gulf Coast area. I'm a licensed
Capt, and ran a charter service
on the Gulf
and Caribbean circuit
for several years. Delivered Boats down in the Yucatan area. My
favorite port's are Vera
Cruz and TuxPan on the east coast of Mexico.� but I can't complain about
life I guess!
After a five year sabbatical
sailing , What was needed was a change of pace .
SO, Not to be boring, A change of professions seemed the thing to do.
Living on a 32' Sailboat in Clear lake Tx. It's�was 5 min drive to
work at NASA in my rust bucket of a

Mustang
,Looking about, Client // Server systems seemed to be the
coming thing. With some additional Schooling, I worked for Boeing (ISC contract), I maintained and upgraded NASA's computer
network systems. Working with the latest
equip. Designing the new network systems.�
Routers,
network configuration,
and Servers, Both NT and Novell.
������ After a 6 year
contract at NASA, I was offered a position on the RCAS contract in
Washington, DC. We built and installed software for the Army and National
guard, as well as maintaining there third level support in hardware and
software. We traveled to ever state and all the territories(Virgin
Islands, Alaska, Hawaii and Porto Rico). Five years of traveling and I was
ready to go home. Retired now, with what the Doc says is a bad ticker so�I fiddle
with these pages and plan to write stories of my adventures.�Hope you enjoy
them.
